Ironwood Lands Premier WA Gold

Porongurup winery Ironwood Estate Wines is celebrating more recent success after securing gold at the Wine Show of WA for their 2024 Riesling.
Owners Gene and Mary Harma said this recent success is a tribute to the Porongurup terrain and winemaking skill.

“The Wine Show of WA is our industry’s premier event, so this gold is extra sweet,”

“Riesling quality has been synonymous with Porongurup since the late 70’s, and to be at the top of the 2024 class puts a spring in our step.”

“As we close in on our 30th anniversary we are continuing to focus and refine, our decades of hard work being rewarded is gratifying,” said Mr Harma.

The 2024 Riesling gold builds on the back to back Shiraz gold at the last two WA Boutique Wine Awards for Ironwood Estate Wines.
